- Total distance in Seamiles 3.345 Miles
- Total distance in Kilometers 6.195 Kilometers
Leaving the port in Rochefort at 13 september 2010
We will be leaving the port with 2 beautiful yachts
- Catamaran OCEANVOYAGER 74 " OCEANDIVA II "
- Trimaran DRAGONFLY 34 " ARCHIMEDES "
The first 2 weeks we will be sailing together until we reach Malaga where the DragonFly Archimedes will be moored.
The Trip will continue with the Oceandiva II.
All the locations where it is possible for crew to get on or off are near an Airport. Off course this is a route on paper when there will be no wind we don't have a problem to reach 8 knots. If the weather is really bad and we can't go we lose 1 day or more. The schedule is pretty tight but within reason we could also be faster the Ocean Diva II is fast (depends on the crew as well).
Why we have used 8 knots when sailing we probably cannot sail straight lines like on paper. This means we make more miles than necessary the better the track made good will be the faster we get to our destination.
